The folks at Nintendo Life go over the highlights of the latest Nintendo Direct in this video. Let's hear what they say and add some of our thoughts. There were so many games during the direct, and I am thrilled about many of them.

First up there is the new Fire Emblem game. I am excited about this one. Like Zion, I wasn't thrilled about the previous title Three Houses. I like the Fire Emblem series, but the whole thing about the school turned me off. This new game seems to be more like the other games, and there is the main character from the very first Fire Emblem, which is rad.

Next, It Takes Two is coming to the Switch. The couch co-op is perfect for the Switch. I feel silly saying this, but Fitness Boxing Fist of the North Star looks like tons of fun! I might pick this one up. Fist of the North Star is very popular here in Italy, and fitness boxing sounds fun.

Another game getting a port on the Switch that I am interested in is Tunic. It looks cute, and I have heard great things about the game. A new Octopath Traveler game is coming out in February 2023. I know a lot of folks, including me, were thrilled to hear this. We are getting a few more Nintendo 64 games with the online subscription.

Two in particular that I am excited about are 1080 Snowboarding and GoldenEye 007. I played these two games a lot in my youth, so I am nostalgic about them.

I couldn't finish this without mentioning the new Zelda game. I don't even have words to describe how excited I am that we finally have a date. I can't wait to see more.
