Steam Deck: First Hands-On With Valve’s Handheld Gaming PC by IGN

Valve just announced the Steam Deck, its long-rumored Switch-like handheld gaming device. Check out the video to see what to expect. It will begin shipping in December, and reservations are open. It starts at $399, and there are two other models with more storage. You can also expand the available storage using the high-speed microSD card slot. The Steam Deck has some different control options, which is a plus. I also love the fact that it is fully customizable. I am not saying that I would change the operating system, but I appreciate the fact that I can. 

I have to say this is a pretty impressive little machine; however, the storage capacity of the basic model is too small for games nowadays. When I first heard about this, I was not convinced. After doing some research and seeing the specs, I am very intrigued. I will be keeping my eye on this, and I might even purchase one eventually.
