I can only imagine how much work goes into games like the ones on this list, and it's a shame that things didn't work out for these companies. I was surprised to see some of these games on the list. I loved Kingdoms of Amalur! I played it when it was released and recently replayed it, and I still think it's great. Then there are games like Haze, and I can see why that failed, but it's still too bad that it took down the company. What did you think of John Romero's poster? Seeing that doesn't make me want to buy his game.
